Modern Living Room Makeover On A Budget One Room Challenge Week 2

Today I am sharing my modern living room makeover on a budget: for the One Room Challenge! The second week is officially here! I am getting so excited for this space to come together. If you are new here, the One Room Challenge is a 6 week blog post series where bloggers transform a room and show the process. It is put on two times a year by Linda with Calling It Home. MODERN LIVING ROOM MAKEOVER ON A BUDGET: ONE ROOM CHALLENGE WEEK 2

This week’s progress consisted of ordering furniture, adding some accessories, and placing the rugs in the space. I fell in love with this vintage turkish rug. The pattern and colors were exactly what I was looking for however, it wasn’t the right size. Fortunately, I had this jute rug in my garage and we were able to dust it off and layer the rug so that it fits the space better! The accessories I added were a brass candelabra, a light green planter, and some home decor books. I may change things around a bit over the next few weeks with regards to accessories. I also moved this plant over into this space, I really like the added greenery!
