I can’t believe the One Room Challenge week 7 final reveal is officially here! I am excited to share with you all my final reveal of my master bedroom. My master bedroom has come a long ways in the last seven weeks. It started as a plain, messy, undecorated space and has been transformed into a relaxing retreat. If you are just joining me this week, I am a guest participant for the One Room Challenge put on by Linda Weinstein with Calling It Home. The one room challenge is a twice yearly event in fall and spring where you document the transformation of a room for 6 weeks. Â See all the beautiful transformations by the featured designers and guest participants here. Also be sure to search #oneroomchallenge on social media to see more!
Here is the final reveal of my master bedroom! I am so happy with the way everything came together. I achieved my goal of creating a comfortable, modern, relaxing space that I enjoy being in.
Some of the details we added were Benjamin Moore Glacier White paint on the walls and Classic Gray on the wainscoting. We switched out our ceiling fan for a modern brass chandelier. We installed floor to ceiling drapes to make the space feel larger in a pretty gray velvet. Talented Interior Designer Lauren Burns from Piece & Palette personally selected a statement art piece for the room by Benson Cobb. Piece and Palette has amazing home decor and also offers services to help with paint selection. This art piece is the focal point in the room and we couldn’t be happier with what she selected!
To bring in texture I chose a beautiful dove gray herringbone woven cotton rug from Dash & Albert by Annie Selke. Dash & Albert’s cotton woven rugs are my favorite. I love how this rug ties in gray and has a beautiful herringbone pattern. I layered it with a sheepskin rug.
My nightstands add a touch of color with brass accents. I enjoy mixing pieces and think it gives a more polished look as opposed to everything matching. Click the image below to for an affiliate link to the exact nightstands I ordered.

The Venetian mirror was my husband’s Grandmother’s mirror. I love having a piece in our room with some history. It adds a feminine touch and means a lot to our family.
I chose lucite and brass lamps for our nightstands. I love the modern look with the brass accents.
Books and candles are my go to accessory in a bedroom. I love the herringbone pattern in the rug.
Layering pillows is a must. I like how different each of these pillows are yet they go together well.
This modern brass chandelier adds the perfect amount of light within the space.
Overall we are so happy with the way it has come together. I hope you have enjoyed this transformation. Be sure to visit the other’s guest participants and featured designers for more amazing room transformations!
